Veterans Day Appreciation Course From
We at Project Management Academy are inspired by the dedication that VBOC demonstrates in fostering the continued education, employment and general prosperity of our United States veterans. In response to this dedication, PMA is proud to offer eligible veterans an opportunity to take our Project Management Professional (PMP) certification training course, regularly priced at $1,895, for just $100.
The PMP certification, issued by Project Management Institute (PMI), is the standard for project management certifications, the most sought after in the industry. By January 2014, over 600,000 project managers had acquired their PMP certification, earning an average salary about 20% higher than their non-certified counterparts. In fact, a majority of employers have begun citing PMP certification as a minimum or distinguishing requirement when seeking to hire project managers.
This Veteran’s Day, veterans will be eligible to enroll in Project Management Academy’s online, instructor-led PMP training course for just the cost of materials (a discount of almost $1,800). This 4-day class follows the framework laid out in the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide), PMI’s book of standards, and provides each student with the 35 contact hours of formal project management education required to sit for the PMP exam.
The course will take place from November 12-15, 2014. This year’s instructor is 20-year Navy veteran and PMP-certified project manager Gregg Richie. To qualify, veterans need only to submit a valid DD214 or DDForm2. To enroll and for further inquiries, please visit http://projectmanagementacademy.net/veterans-day-appreciation-pmp-course.
With Your Help...
As you know, funding for the NEVBRC from the SBA was not renewed, severely crippling our ability to help deserving veterans in the New England region. The closest veteran outreach organization is now located in Syracuse, New York.
However, there is a chance that we can continue on in a limited capacity – but we need your help.
The NEVBRC has launched a GoFundMe campaign to try and raise a minimum yearly operating budget of $150,000.00. We’re seeking businesses in the area that support our veterans and want to help them succeed. We are in desperate need of funds to help us keep the lights on and maintain at least some of our outreach efforts across the region. If you know of any veteran-friendly firms or businesses willing to help us, please let us know, or direct them to our campaign. Since 2007, we have worked with almost 8,000 veterans. It would be a shame to see this come to an end.
Please donate! http://www.gofundme.com/nevbrc
If you or someone you know can help with our fundraising efforts, please contact me at email@example.com or phone 617-532-0918. Thank you, and I wish you much success in your ventures.
